
In the physical activity and sports in society unit our final assignment was to take everything we learned and create a personalized training program for ourselves. The program would consist of one micro cycle with a number of exercises focussed on our health concerns. I chose to center my plan around aerobic capacity and upper body muscle endurance, as those were the areas I wanted to improve in the most. Included exercises that were more cardio-based, treadmill walk, to improve my aerobic capacity and exercises that were more strength training-based to work on upper body muscle endurance, close grip push up. I chose to include more exercises focussed on aerobic class because I was more concerned about my cardiovascular system than my upper body strength. This assignment will hopefully encourage me to participate more in physical activity now that I have specific concerns. The future I hope to include a healthy diet along with the exercise routine.
